What is the key information I need to know now about the VIP Presale Travel Package?
Travel bookings will be managed by our travel partner, TAG. Full terms and conditions for the complimentary travel inclusions, such as changes, cancellations and additions will be provided by TAG. Please also note:
- Flights are economy fare and available from Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Darwin, Perth and Hobart. You will have the opportunity to select your preferred flight.
- Additional travel requirements such as airport transfers, upgrades, extension of stay, additional guests and other travel can be booked directly with the travel agent at your own expense.
- Your $500 donation to access this VIP Presale Travel Package offer is non-refundable. If you need a copy of your 100% tax deductible DGR receipt, please contact us.
- If you wish to extend your stay to experience the unique tourism opportunities in South Australia, our travel agent can assist. For inspiration, visit Experience Adelaide page.
- If you do not pay by 11:59PM AEST on 30 May 2024 your inclusions will be forfeited and your access to this package will be released to the waitlist.
- If you do not require travel with your VIP Presale Travel Package - please note that the travel inclusions are complimentary and therefore not transferable to other guests.

When will I receive my travel registration link?
Travel bookings will be managed by our travel agent, TAG. Following payment, you will receive your travel registration link via TAG in June. Full terms and conditions for the travel inclusions, such as changes, cancellations and additions will be provided by the travel agent. You will be able to select preferences for the flights and hotel and they will endeavour to fulfil your preferences - best to get in early for this!
Conference tickets and event information will be emailed separately in November.
What is considered a ‘major capital city’?
Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Darwin, Perth and Hobart
What flights will I be able to access?
Flights are economy fare and available from Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Darwin, Perth and Hobart. You will have the opportunity to select your preferred flight through the travel booking form from TAG (June 2024).
Can we choose which airline we fly with?
Flights and airlines have been selected based on suitable arrival and departure times in line with the conference schedule. If you wish to request alternate flights or airlines, you can make note of this within your Travel Booking Form and TAG will be in touch.
Can I upgrade my flight class?
All flights included in your VIP Presale Travel Package are economy fare. If you would like to upgrade your flight from economy to business class, please advise TAG when filling in your Travel Booking Form (or via email). They will be able to advise you of availability and the airfare fare difference at the time of your request.
Where is the included accommodation?
We have partnered with leading 4-5 star hotels in Adelaide, which are all within walking distance of the Conference venue. You will find more information about the hotel we've allocated you within the Travel Booking Form.
What is the deadline for booking my flight and hotel?
The deadline for booking your flights and hotel is Friday 9 August. After this date hotels will release room holds and we will not be able to guarantee a hotel room.

Can I extend my stay in the same room at my allocated hotel?
You can request to extend your stay at any time by contacting the TAG Travel Team who will endeavour to confirm your extension request. Additional accommodation nights will be at your own expense, payable directly to the hotel, and subject to hotel availability at the time of the request. We encourage you to let us know as soon as possible.
Can I extend my stay in South Australia?
Yes, additional nights and/or changes to your flight dates can be arranged directly through our travel agency at your own expense. Are airport transfers included in my VIP Presale Travel Package?
Airport transfers are not included in the package. There will be an opportunity to book airport transfers through our travel agency on the Travel Booking Form for an additional fee.
Is Travel Insurance included in my VIP Presale Travel Package?
Travel Insurance is not included in the cost of your VIP Presale Travel Package. You may wish to consider taking out travel insurance separately.
Can I change my flight or accommodation?
Flights have been selected based on suitable arrival and departure times in line with the conference schedule. If you wish to request alternate flights, you can make note of this within your Travel Booking Form and TAG will be in touch.
Changes to flights after the booking has been confirmed will be subject to availability and will incur change fees.
As this is a popular season to visit Adelaide, to manage capacity we have allocated you a hotel.
Thank you for understanding the logistical challenge of accommodating all conference attendees and that your allocated hotel cannot be changed.
Who do I contact on the day of departure if there are issues with my flights?

What if my flight is cancelled?
After check in, for flight cancellations OR delayed/missed connections, the airline is your first point of call as your flight/ticket will likely be under ‘airport control’ and TAG cannot access your booking. Please seek assistance from the airline directly as they should look to resolve your change/cancellation by moving you to the next available option.
